The price fluctuations in the field of construction materials, the crediting process for the residential sector, the prospect of a crisis and the war along our border are the most problematic aspects for the construction industry’, says Marian Ciupitu, an entrepreneur who owns the company Terano Construct in Bucharest, with business worth RON 25.2 million last year.
‘The year 2023 seems to be more difficult than 2022, but I cannot estimate whether it will recover in the second half or whether we will see drops.’
The lack of workforce, the lack of vocational schools that bring skilled youth to the labor market, the low digitalization rate, and the unpredictable legislation are further constant challenges keeping the construction industry ‘in overdrive’, added Marian Ciupitu.
