The following notice is designed to make you aware of the aspects related to the processing of your personal data and your rights regarding this processing in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the applicable national law.

- Purpose of the processing
The company processes your personal data for the following purposes:

Execution of fire prevention and extinction works.
- Fire detection;
- Fire extinguishing systems (hydrants and sprinklers);
- Fireproof sealing of various installations running through the walls;

- Coordination of large-scale projects
Design and implementation of complex installation systems for buildings, including subsequent maintenance services

Ø in order to fulfil the legal obligations of the Company;
Ø in order to pursue the legitimate interests of the Company;
Ø for the following purposes, all of the areas listed, to the extent that you have agreed to each of them:
- Providing information on commercial offers
- Providing information on the events of the Company
- Providing information to assist with construction-related needs (construction maintenance, assistance, warranties, insurance)
- Participation in surveys on the Company’s products and services regarding the degree of customer satisfaction
- Legal basis for the processing
The legal basis for collecting and processing your data for each of the purposes mentioned above is:
Ø the supply or service contract to which you are a party or your request prior to the conclusion of a contract;
Ø the fulfillment of a legal obligation;
Ø the legitimate interest of the Company to allow us to exercise the rights provided by law in our favor, to take legal action against any illegal or damaging activity for the Company
Ø in addition, to the extent that you agreed, your consent. The processing of personal data on the basis of consent is an additional purpose of the processing of personal data for the performance of the contract to which you are a party and is not a prerequisite for the provision/performance of contractual services.
- Categories of recipients to whom the collected personal data may be disclosed:
In order to achieve the above mentioned purposes, we use the following categories of product and service providers/agents:
Ø suppliers directly/indirectly involved in the supply of automotive products and services (suppliers importing vehicles, roadside assistance service providers, extended warranty service providers, call centre service providers);
Ø state authorities (including tax authorities);
Ø accountants, auditors, legal experts, lawyers or other such external advisors to the Company or to third parties providing products and services to the Company (security service providers, IT system providers, financial consultants)
Ø suppliers of the Company directly/indirectly involved in the marketing and advertising process.
- Retention period
Your personal data will be kept by the Company for a period not exceeding the period necessary to achieve the purposes described above and/or for any other period required by virtue of the legal obligations applicable to the Company.
- Your rights
The Regulation grants a series of rights to the persons whose personal data is processed. This way, in addition to the existing rights, there is also the right to data portability and the right to data erasure. In short, you have the following rights:
Right to withdraw at any time a consent given in order to stop a data processing based on your consent. The withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given prior to withdrawal, for the performance of a contract, for the fulfilment a legal obligation or for pursuing our legitimate interests.
Right of access – this means that you have the right to obtain a confirmation from us on whether or not we are processing personal data about you and, if we do so, you have access to such data and information on to how that data is processed.
Right to data portability – this refers to the right to receive personal data in a structured, and machine-readable format currently used by us, but also the right to have such data transferred directly to another controller if this is technically feasible.
Right to object – this is your right to object to the processing of personal data when the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the legitimate interest of the controller. Where the processing of personal data is for the purposes of direct marketing or when it is carried out on the basis of express consent, you have the right to object to the processing at any time.
Right to rectification – this refers to the correction, without unreasonable delays, of inaccurate personal data. The rectification will be communicated to each recipient to whom the data was sent, unless this proves impossible or requires disproportionate effort.
Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – this means that you have the right to request the erasure of personal data, without unreasonable delays, if one of the following reasons applies: the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed; you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing; you object to the processing and there are no other compelling legitimate grounds; the personal data has been unlawfully processed; the personal data must be deleted in order to comply with a legal obligation; the personal data has been collected in connection with the provision of information society services.
Right to restrict processing – can be exercised if the person challenges the accuracy of the data for a period necessary to verify the accuracy of the data; the processing is unlawful and you object to the deletion of the personal data and request its restriction instead; in case Terano Construct no longer needs the personal data for the purpose of processing, but the person requests it for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claim; if the person has objected to the processing for the period of time during which it is verified whether the legitimate rights of the controller prevail over those of the person concerned.
Right to submit a complaint – complaints about the processing of personal data can be addressed to the National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data.
