The law recommends regular inspection and system testing, which will include all types of detectors, such as smoke or gas. They should be tested to ensure that the combustion products (smoke, flue gas) pass into the detection room and this triggers the alarm.<\/p>

    Firefighting systems are used to extinguish or prevent the spreading of fire in a building. These systems may use a combination of dry chemicals and\/or water or other agents to suppress fire.<\/p>

    Maintenance of the emergency lighting system<\/strong><\/p>
